I completely agree. PUA is both an addiction and a religion and for all the wrong reasons.
It's addicting because when you first get into it, you see results. Not because of PUA, but because you started trying. You get further and further addicted but it will never help you.
It's a religion because everything is based off faith. You are just expected to believe that everything just works because some dude says so. Everything is so based off of technicality and everything else. Picking up women is not a science, it's completely natural. On that same note, I actually believe in some of the things that PUA teaches. Sometimes, PUA actually brings out your real self.
I actually approve of this forum though. The majority of us believe in self-help and inner game. Gaining confidence and courage. All you ever need to succeed, in anything, is motivation and courage. After that, you will slowly gain experience and everything will come easily.

I agree that the mystery method social robot shit is bad. I went through everyone of those lame links and they are go back to 'be yourself' and PUA is just creeping girls out. You don't have an opinion. This forum is actually a good thing to exist because it allows your average highschooler to find out what being a man is, we have lost a lot of that in our culture, to become psychologically healthy, then learn about evolutionary psychology/ PUA/ how girls think and realize that yes, men are sexual creatures, and we should not be ashamed.

I agree with almost everything except the last sentence, if you were a real man then why do you give a fuck about mystery and neil strauss? I know both of them personally, ask around the forum you will find this to be true, and they definitely get laid, with the opposite sex, more then you could imagine. I'm not saying I agree with how they do it, but they found something that works for them.
Also a real man does think that way, its just all internalized, the issue PUA has is for the most part they dont teach the students that, so they over analyze things.
