I just wanted to post explaining why me and profile haven't (and probably won't) be on this forum a lot if at all in the future.
This is because pua isn't about forums it's about actually doing it, and this may not refer to any of you, but we definitely feel like we only use the forum as a way of gloating and getting away from actual pua business (going out and doing it). And when we did go out when we got back we'd come straight on here; it was wrong.
i just wnated you all to know we haven't given up pua, like i said we just think pua forums are about self recognition and procrastinating rather than real pua. I mean sure it's good to join up and ask for help on stuff, every pua does that. But i'm certain that some people on thsi forum (i was one of them) come on here as a way of pretending to be good at pua, when really the forum just takes their mind off of it.
Something to think about for some people, don't deny it if it apply's to you.
Just thought i'd say, i haven't forgotten about you guys, and i will post sometimes
peace x

Here's the thing bro. PUA is about LEARNING concepts and APPLYING concepts.
When you read books, go on forums, etc. you are essentially LEARNING very important concepts that you will not learn as fast if you ONLY go out.
When you go out, sarge, just have fun you are essntially APPLYING very important concepts that you won't be able to apply as much if you're sitting on the forums day by day.
Imagine the man who spends his life at the library. All this knowledge, but then he dies not being able to use this knowledge.
Imagine the man who spends his life without knowledge or education. He can only learn from experience while going out with friends. He will never have the knowledge the man at the library had. He's essentially useless.
So it's about balance. Don't go out 24/7. Spend time learning and spend time applying.

i disagree with grape. Learning in the field is far faster learning than 'studying' since its internalized almost immediately, while studying never gets it properly internalized.

I like to think of the forums as a place for learning the basics before rushing out into the field not knowing wtf you're supposed to be doing. It's also a good place for sharing and building friendships...i don't exactly have people in my area i can talk about this stuff with.

I got exactly what he said.
but his argument is destroyed by the fact someone would have once seen something about game, and thus learned a bit. otherwise he's neither applying or learning, he's just doing.
Sarging is the single best way to learn and calibrate your game.

No.
A Personal Example: I went out all the time with friends but because of my weak KNOWLEDGE of society, I would be the guy who just hangs out with everyone but doesnt really has an identity of his own.
After I found PUA, I finally got explanations and reasons as to why some things work where others dont.
I changed myself using what PUA taught me through books and forums.
====================== Or simply put: You've never changed your car's oil before. What're you going to do?
You can: Try to change it without having a solid foundation of car logic. Or.... Read a book and see what the pros have to say about it but not do it.. Or.... Read the book, and then try to change it.
What's your best choice?

/\ /\ lol wat a beast. Its easy to say that you dont need to forums or to have learned the material now that you've already learned it. Take a friend who knows nothing about pickup and tell him to approach random girls and try to close them. Even if he's confident and does it... chances are hes not going to get very far.

I'm trying to say this argument isn't going anywhere and it's best we gave up on it.
