^ or you could get a job lol well a job is just you wasting time working for someone else so they can give you the least amount of money possible. You should be your own boss. So im not going to bore you, if you dont want to read just go to the bottom and look at the cash being made. So lets say you make an ebook about taking care of your dog, maybe you would call it 'take care for your golden retriever' and you sell the ebook for 20 dollars now you have 2 ways to sell the book A. google adwords google adwords is a google site where people pay good for links, so when someone looks up golden retriever on google there is you link on the side. lets say it cost 10 cents everything someone clicks on you link. When they click on your link they go to your site, now their are multiple ways to make your website look better so people will buy the book. now lets say 1000 people a month hit you website, thats $100 to google, and lets say out of those 1000 100 people buy you $20 ebook thats $2000 minus 100 so you have website that you dont need to take care of like a full job and you make over 22gs a year. B. blog aggregator you splice together alot of blogs together related to your topics (dogs, retrievers, golden retrievers, dog medicine, ect ect ) then on the sides of your blog you have ads to your site. Now you have 100 people visit your blog daily and out of those 100 50 are newcomers, that means that you have between 1500 and 3000 people visit the blog a month. and between 400 and 1500 visit your website every month. if you keep the 10% buy rule you have between 40 and 150 people buy it a month. thats between 800 and 3000 dollars a month, lets make an average so 1900 dollars a month all year. thats 22gs a months. now use both methods and after you make your website you stop working on it after their both finished ( takes about a month of semiwork) then suddenly you have 46gs a year ( 22s are actually like 22,800) and thats at 10% of the people buy it, if you work on it and get 20% of the people to buy it then you have over 90gs a year, now lets say you have 3 of these best selling ebooks, you now have 6 figures coming into your wallet without lifting a finger (once you make them) so for all those who skipped to the bottom thats 270,000 a year for only 3 months of work.

It's called Internet marketing and it's not super easy that's a year of work for 3 ad campaigns you have to write the book and not too many people know how to implement these techniques easily

yeh but dude even then, I dont think there is a big marketing business on ebooks. A lot of people on ebay try to do that to make a big buck (and I know that is a bad place to market for it, but still) noone wants to buy a book.
Now if you make that something more interesting and unique..then you might have a reallly goood shot. But that then leads to to make something that is both unique and very useful

well i will admit the ebook market isnt hot but the thing is that i was just giving two options to make money, there are hundreds ways to SELL.
however new unique products are actually kind of risky because their untested, the best thing to do for teens is to find a product that works and market it better.
But im running a general brainstorm of money making ideas in the money thread so ill give the thread back to enigma

Tommy, your right. But with higher risks = higher reward. Your product will either be great, or suck. And most likely a teen cant produce it, so we'd need alternative sources to create it. Then comes to question what it is

Alek your thinking is all wrong. You never start out with a product. There are four steps to having a succesful Internet buisness. 1 Market research: you want to research the market and find out what is good and not good. 2 traffic: you want to find a way to get people to your website 3 conversion: you want to convert as much of your traffic into buyers as possible and finally 4 product: Now you develop and sell a product
Here's an example let's says jack wants to sell something on the Internet so he does his research he gets traffic and he makes a cool site now he sells his products fish hooks and pheromones he tests the market and he finds that fish hooks won't sell. But he got two orders of pheromones do get two orders since the the products don't exist he refunds the customers with orders and now he sells pheromones
