I've been registered for awhile but never bothered to make the jump and post. Also, I completely forgot about this forum for a month or so haha.
So, I'm Jon. 15, entering what you Americans call Junior year (grade 11 for us Canadians) I reside in the alright city of Vancouver (well, more accurately the suburbs of it.)
I'm a pretty introverted guy. I read the game a while ago to try changing that but it didn't really help me PU-wise. However, it did change some aspects of my self, including a better posture and feeling a higher self-worth. Also, I feel that I have a great sense of style (other people often say the same)
Still hasn't changed any of my love life though >.< I suck at game in general. I got the AA, can't internalize anything for inner game, and obviously can't close.

After maybe a hiatus of two months I've returned to the forum with one of the shittiest experiences ever. At least in my head.
So on the bus today just sipping on my coke + milk (try it, delicious) and staring awkwardly away from the 7 who is sitting a couple seats adjacent to me. Suddenly PU pops into my mind and I wish I could open but would probably tense up and fuck it up.
Best part: some 37 year old dude comes, sits beside her, and quickly easily strikes up an active conversation by asking about her ipod.
FML haha. I felt so stupid inside. And that reminded me of needing to kill AA. ha. not gonna happen.

I am new to this as well but I do open a lot of sets in public transit. I usually do it to get my english better, I open about two sets on average every time I get into the TRANSIT.
What I found is, if you say hi to the bus driver and smile, you get into the mood of having fun. I always say hi and ask the driver if anything interesting happened, shit like that. Then I take the front seat, (the seat that is designated for the elder people). I just realized something, when I get up from that seat for an elder person, it makes other people think I honor older people or something. This probably makes them more receptive. I don't know, never really thought about it until now. I usually start talking about the transit system itself. I make comparisons to other transit systems around the world. Everyone responds very nicely to this. Then I get into asking questions. I don't ask interview questions, I make statement. I read this at some article and then noticed one guy in my school, who is freaking awesome with all the girl, does this. So I do it. I do a some little touches on the arms and shoulders. In my country, giving hugs and touching them is not allowed. You can touch but everyone looks at you like you shouldn't do it. So touching people is very challenging for me, but I am doing it anyways.
The mindset I have when I talk to people in the bus is that they are going to their boring job, or coming home after that. Me, the funny accented little guy is giving them some company/pleasure. In return, I am opening a lot of sets, having fun doing it(it feels awesome after you have talked to a stranger, its the same feeling I get after I had a long run), improving my English and getting the thrill that most people miss out. Its like a win-win situation. I usually don't close, which I should start to do.
Its kinda hard for me to get my ideas together, but I hope that this will help you lil bit. If you have any questions, PM me. I will try me best to answer it.

I fucking hate how different cultures and shit tell preach that to you.
