I completely agree. Negs, at least in the form of teasing, work really well even with slightly insecure girls. Even before I joined the community, I was always teasing girls and it seemed to work. However, I get what dante is saying because most girls haven't really formed a "bitch-shield" yet. But you are definitely right about comfort and kino, because they are huge parts of pickup. I think the reason my teasing didn't really get me that far was because I lacked these two facets.
