Will ditching my friends make me happier?

For the pass three years of my high school life. I sit with the same 3 people I sit with during lunch. They only know each other through me.

Eventually they became friends. But, I believe they are only there for me.

Lunch is the only time I feel I can practice my game, but I feel bad if I tell my friends I have to leave.

Lately, our conversations are becoming stale because I keep on thinking about leaving them and meet other people. This is constricting my social life with my friends and others.

What is the best way to let my friends know I want to eat with other people?

I was the same way in Middle School. Now I sit with my true friends. I have a good time at lunch, and don't usually game then. I just eat.

I had the same problem. I ditched a solid group of my friends because I felt I was more mature then they were and wanted to move on. They felt abandoned, which was a shame, it was a great group of kids, but I made different friends that I felt were more on the same wavelegnth as me. They got over it and were still friends (cept I sit with different people at lunch haha)

Bottom line, if your close group of friends arent satisfying you, move on. Usually that isnt hard because high school is so dynamic. Your still allowed to be friends with them.

Bottom-er line, like stevenadrein said, do what makes you happy.

anyway, its highschool, so even though right now teens like you and me feel strong emotional connections to our friends in the grand scheme of things those friends aren't as important as learning the ropes of PUA. not saying you should stop being friends, its just maybe you could make more

if those were your friends you are more than likely going to be a part of that scene anyway, thus you would be like them in many ways, you would talk like them, dress like them, act like them etc. so if youre looking for a new group of friends youre just changing scene, you wont be ditching them and odds are you will be the outcast like the average 4chan troll
