Apparently you've never heard of the saying, "Your self is always coming through". If you're a cool, happy, positive, fun loving, dominant guy and you put your hands in your pocket, you think the girl's going to think "Shit, he put his hands in his pocket, he must be nervous, I'm done talking to him".

All it is, is a limiting belief on the subject... which I unfortunately still somewhat have. Thinking just because you put your hands in your pocket won't get you a girl is ridiculous. I've done it time and time again.

Obviously don't make a habit of it, for example: some people literally walk with their hands in their pockets. That's HORRIBLE body language. Just don't make it your default thing and you'll be fine.

Girls pick up on it anyway. We all do. Subconsciously. You can sometimes see the reaction when you're talking to someone, and you shift position to something bad. They'll either mirror you or look confused. Quite fun.
I've never said that it kills your chances. If it does, I suggest you go work on different areas of your game.

Both of you are correct.

Fixing bad habits is very important.
Becoming more comfortable is very important.

Nothing is black and white, some people may do it out of habit and others because they're legitimately nervous.

But yes, limiting beliefs are strong, so it's also important to know that nothing really matters THAT MUCH. Every part of you gives you some 1 ups and 1 downs. No one's perfect so it's a matter of getting over it and simply progressing.

I stick my hands in my back pockets, it feel's more comfortable and open. As another little plus side to it, it pokes your chest out a little, makes you feel like a G.

I hope nobody actually pays attention to the way they're standing, or whether or not their hands are in their pockets while talking to girls.
