heey everybody, my name is.. well, I won't release my name haha, but I'm 14, 15 in a month, and I live in NYC. I need some help in socializing and picking up girls in high school so I decided to join these forums.

I literally, just started looking at this PUA stuff, still trying to figure out what a HB8/9 is, etc, so if anyone could point me in the right direction of where I should begin that would be great.

My goal from these forums: help me get a girlfriend, get more social with a group of people i don't know, quit running into dead ends (awkward silences) while talking to girls, annnnd.. yeah that's about it.

Welcome aboard man, you live pretty close to me so cool.
I would suggest you get your concepts and vocabulary from The Game and read Conquer your Campus while you're at it. This should set you on the right path to becoming an RAFC (Reformed Average Frustrated Chump). The next "rank" would be becoming a PUA.

Never mind I just figured out how everyone gets their eBooks (thats what they're called I think).

However, this Conquer your Campus thing is for College, yet I am in the 9th grade (Freshmen year) of High School.

Similar concepts apply in CYC, it's essentially the values and qualities that CYC goes over that help make you successful. It will make sense after you read it.

I would also recommend following Proidgy's HGC posts. He gives some pretty good advice.

Just finished reading over Conquer your Campus, I learned a few concepts, good book, howeverrr, sorta irreleveant to the 9th grade imo.

What's HGC?

HCG is the heroic game course, theres a link in my signature, and as far as CYC goes everything is relevant to where you are.
the first step is to be comfortable in who you are, have fun, and dont react negatively. do those three things and the rest of game is just icing on the cake.

Not sure how you managed to come to the conclusion that "CYC was sorta irrelevant to 9th grade". Sure, the book is geared towards college. But essentially ALL of the concepts in there apply to highschool except obviously the stuff about the greek scene lmao. Biggest difference between highschool and college is the number of easily accessible parties, and campus size. Just my thoughts.

Oh wow and I happened to skip the Greek part.

I guess I just didn't understand the entire concept of it.

Do you know of any books that are made for High School PUA's?

Theres none that i've found sadly. If someone ever finds one i wanna know ASAP. Another good book is the Book of Pook though.
