New Forum

[perceverance]

Alright guys, you were thinking about how to get more activity on the forum and make it more alive right? how about starting over. this forum is getting a little old, no offense grape. I am trying to make a new one, check it out and let me know what you guys think. I'm pretty good at graphic design so i could add a whole lot of features and graphics.

I would really appreciate it if you guys took a look at it and let me know if you would be comfortable migrating from this forum to that one. I feel like it would really expand this community.

Problem is, we'd also be leaving behind the articles, journals, and field reports that we rely on to learn pick up. Unless if you want to copy everything to the other forum, I don't see how one would learn better in yours other than communicating with each other better. I do agree that the forum is a little bland and that your forum would easily get more people, but all the necessary info is here.

i see your viewpoint. what about that ebook grape put together that has all the best articles.

It has the best articles from 2009 and before. Anything after that isn't in the book.

But one thing I noticed is that the forum is no longer as fun as it used to be. Look at these threads I read:

I DIED laughing at these 10 minutes ago. The community back then was fun and carefree, alpha qualities all around. It's kind of hard teaching these carefree qualities when we don't even do it barely anymore in our own forums. Prodigy's post about the latin translation was really the only funny thing I've seen in awhile. We need to bring that back, in this forum or the next.

I like how both articles were started by chicks LOL. I also agree completely on the forum needs fun.

I also think that unless your out of highschool leave the forum alone, this place ranks fairly high on google because of those articles and other ones like it. We get new members as a result

I'm going to blame the lack of fun on us taking game to seriously. I'm totally breaking one of my two rules, does that make me a rebel? or just an idiot?

1.) have fun, bring fun
2.) dont react to shit

A new forum would just be annoying, sorry dude. Why waste all that time setting it up when you could be getting some chicks. Also - I wasn't around back in the "glory days," but I feel that this forum isn't dead at all. We have some good articles, field reports, and the new squad system is solid. I'd just give it some time, new AFC's will become pua's and write interesting articles and field reports. Take canadiankid for example - he wrote a great article a bit ago...used to be AFC asking annoying questions, now is a great addition to the community. It will come, don't worry guys. Just keep posting, sharing experiences, successes and failures, and enjoy yourselves around here.

Ive been around in the glory days, and I remeber one time they were talking about how they were going off to college and who they were going to pass the forum down to. I remember Prodigy was there but his name was Tommy Gold. But anyways I think you guys are over valuing the past WAAYYY TOO MUCH. We're a different breeed of people so lets do what WE do. Although your idea seems great in theory (New start, better traffic) I dont wanna leave my journal behind. It has ALL my experiences in there.

As the oldest poster here, the MAN who created this entire Highschool forum. I say this is fine.

What you don't understand is moving over, doesn't create, but breaks apart. Everytime we switched forums, from the first AP -Seduction forum, to the second, to this, we lost people, posts, and views.

Keep what you have. Plus, the name fucking sucks. Try paying 5 bucks and get a real address. Thats what I did, and I had a forum this active in less than a month.
