Havn't posted a question in a while haha. So I'm always high energy. It's tough for me to sit around and not be the center of attention. In class I'm loud and talkative. Walking to class, I goof around, and yell stupid shit. At Drumline or outside of school, I'm the same. I feel like I'm at a disadvantage to those chill guys who are social, but not "hyper". I know this debate has occurred before, but Im curious. Another question I have is, how should I chill out?

There is nothing wrong with being hyper. It's one style and as long as your not ridiculously over the top it's good. Yes, it could be taken to far but I doubt you are.

I feel tryhard when I do it though. My friend, who shares all 6 classes with me is an Amog. Not overly social but people are drawn to him and don't Fuck with him. He's not a natural but he has a girlfriend. I see how chill he is and he makes me feel like a tool everytime I get really high energy.

Hmm ok well if you try to mirror some of his mannerisms that may help. Thats how I usually learn behaviors, but being high energy can be an asset so don't lose it completely, plus I like your sense of humor.

If you don't work out or get any exercise - start. It really raises your energy. If you do already work out, than it's just something you have to start doing. Basically think of someone high energy or find someone in your school and kind of copy him. Talk a lot, move a lot, do stupid shit, and raise your voice. To come down from high energy just do the opposite. Be chill.

Haha. I think the important lesson here is to stick with your energy level if it makes you happy. If it's a part who you are you shouldn't change it unless it inhibits your progress substantially.
