ok so there's this girl we're close and we're at the poiny I could easily ask her out. But her ex (who I hate but try not to show it) still hangs out with her and is quite kino with her and always gets in my way when I try to say something to her. How do I get rid of this douchebag and ask her out?

Dominate her. Call him out when he interrupts you or comes into your convo and you don't want him to. If he interrupts you make no hesitation and say assertively "Did you not just hear that I'm talking? Excuse us and we'll get back to you when we're done." Then pull her away and ask her out. Don't let him feel like he can just waltz into a convo or a private discussion.

If he is more overt I go into nigga please mode. I say something along the the lines of "Seriously, bro I'm(were) busy." And show him a face that says nigga please cause he is a bitch face.

yeah good ideas guys thanks. Now what do I do if I'm trying to get her away from him to talk to her alone to start with?
Because what I was thinking was just kinda get between them and just ask her I she'll help with my biology (we're in the same class and work together) and go over to the table near where we sit at lunch. (the table is actually a fairly isolated)

well, found out that he's not going to be at school on Monday anyway. So that makes it that much easier to get her alone, because I just need to get her away from her friends which actually won't be that hard. But I feel like a coward, if I ask her out while he's not there. Your opinions please.
