"paradox" of being sexy

*note this is not actually a paradox but an interesting phenomenon, this is mostly seen in social circle game, within a party/nightclub setting it is not always applicable.
Have you ever noticed that the hotter a women the less likely a person (in general) is to go up and talk to them? I have a theory that the hotness of a women is reversely related to how likely it is that a person will approach them (e.g. a “10” is ten times less likely to be approached than a “1”). This is caused predominantly because of people’s fear of rejection. Most guys will walk by a beautiful women and not approach because they have the mindset of “she so amazing no way am I in her league”. I have had tons of good looking girls talk to me about feeling unattractive exactly because of this phenomenon (nobody approaches them because they are intimidated because of their looks). Now, while this is sad and all, this proves a great opportunity for people involved in PUA. Because most of these amazing girls are not used to being hit on (especially in the high school level) you can play on these insecurities they are bound to have as a result of this. What this means in a practical sense is that you coming up to them and trying to pick them up is a new and different than what they are used to!
Just a thought, think about this next time you get AA before a pickup

no, it depends how you look at this. It makes pretty good sense to me and it's only true to some extent.

Basically he's saying a lot of 10s get less attention even though everyone notices them, most people are too intimidated by their looks to talk to them. They are therefore approached less than the less stunning women.
