If pickup artists didn't make you sick before

So I didn't think I was going to be posting on pick up forums again, but I feel like this forum needs to see the victims of pickup

This is from the teen-game forum, and if you check the forum out this is not the first time I've had issues over there, but this particular thread has made me realize the true evil that pick up represents, and why it needs to die, ASAP

I'm done with these sites, i don't know when or if i'll be back. I'm still working with east coast on articles, so ill still be generating content, but PU communities are starting to really irritate me. Its been good folks.

I hate to say that I'm pro-PUA, but it helped me a lot and I can't deny that. I don't think I'd be where I am if it weren't for PUA. You can't just judge it based on one guy either. I know there's more than just one guy... but I think it does more good than harm. The guy is just obsessive-compulsive, if he hadn't found PUA, he would've found something else to obsess over, and PUA isn't the worst thing to be obsessed with...

I used to think that pickup solved my problems to, but after a while you really do realize that it had nothing to do with it.

Prodigy, when you say you're staying away from these kind of sites, why does this forum fall into that mold? I don't really think that this forum really fits into the "pickup site" mold cause its not really about that typical pick up bullshit. Its just more about developing your personality and your traits to improve yourself and your life, and teaching us that getting with girls is only one aspect of that.

^ its not about that, this is not natural. Unless its your job there is no point behind staying on a forum for more than 12 months, it an awful habbit. Pickup revolves around validation, insecurity and ego. There is some good to come out of it but there are real creeps that think like that dude. I won't even lie when I first came here I used to write articles to get validation and that's when I left. Only when I didn't care anymore did I come back and share real value. I advise guys to take as much knowledge as they can and leave, pua is not the same anymore, the number of people that are in it are high and the number of creeps are higher. And all these creeps do is TALK. This just might also be my last post iv been saying for a while now time is up .. its very easy to tell who the guys are that don't have much problems and that just have to push a little to do well, but they are way too high numbers of dudes that want pussy to be fed to them while they sit on their computer screen. Again, pua revolves around insecurity, validation and ego. Been fun.

Maybe not directly because of the tactics I learned from PUA, but if I had not found this particular website, I don't think I'd be half the person I am now. And I found this website... indirectly from David D sending spam email which made me curious about PUA.

The thing about PU is, it's hard to tell someone who has little to no confidence to just have confidence and be themselves. I know I'm guilty of this but sometimes it works.

What PU does is give someone with no confidence or self-worth enough courage to try/approach because in the beginning they feel like they are clueless but then are provided with lines to say and a framework to work within.

Once this occurs, they build the confidence that is necessary over time through experience and realize that "PUA is bullshit, everything I need is inside me, except my dick."

Problem is, it can be taken too far like in this case (I'm just assuming based off these replies, I did not click the link).

I think it would be beneficial for us all to abandon all PU sites including this til February 5th.

This forum is definitely one of the better ones, free from the bullshit of PUA.
Teen game, on the other hand, is fairly terrible. They've repackaged MM, thrown in some pretty graphs (how exactly they have data to produce these, no one knows) and started brainwashing desperate teen guys to buy their products. I haven't read TG manifesto, but the sample pages I saw were taken verbatim from MM and the Pickup Artist show; how the fuck a 2nd edition is being produced, who knows? There's also no real field reports from the supposed "coaches", most of whom refuse to listen to anything other than st pixie and his repackaged MM.

I'm fairly anti-PUA. It helped me get to where I am today and it's for that reason that I continue to contribute to this forum. Fortunately I've always been suspicious of mass belief systems and this led me to question PU very early on. Negs were the 1st thing I attacked like 2 weeks after coming here, never used them since and I don't intend to. Sex is natural, therefore game should be natural; not some artificial bullshit that has you constantly calculating what you have to do, when and how to do it, scrutinizing the smallest details for some sort of deeper meaning.

I hear you loud and clear on this one Prodigy, but this site is different, and its going places. Like Sloth said, this site is more like life coaching, it focuses a lot on inner game and self confidence, which improve every part of your life, whereas most other sites focus on picking up women...thats all.
Fuck the other sites, we'll start our own shit here. Those other sites create tools, robots, whatever you wana call them. But here, its different. I've tried other sites, there full of regurgitated shit, this one is one of the best there is, especially for our age.
