I think most of the good books have been posted in this thread, but you guys seriously need to check out Venutian Arts' Revelation ebook. Don't mind the reviews of the revelation program, don't get the program, just the ebook. The Revelation ebook is the best thing I've read on pick-up.

Don't know how they listened to it, I still haven't been able to get my hands on a half-decent audio rip. (If someone has, hook me up bud)
If you want to hear samples though to see what it's like, go to hypnotica's website

I agree with Grape up on the 1st post Robert Greene's 48 Laws of Power & Art of Seduction are great reads and you might as well include his 33 Strategies of War, doesnt seem relvant but it provides a good social dynamics basis for a highschool social enviroment.

Forreal? I had heard that Robert Greene was too Machiavellian and amoral. And creepy. PS. I ended up ordering Sphinx of Imagination and actually paying the 30 dollars plus shipping / handling...... Later I found out that it was because in one of his other programs he used NLP and multilayered mp3 format to add in nested loops that would make me want to buy, rather than pirate. . . Free will is an illusion.

Okay.
Read The Art of Seduction this week. And I was right. And Grape was right.
It IS really Machiavellian and amoral. In fact, there's a chapter talking about how you have to denounce ethics to be a true seducer. And it's creepy. It refers to the "target" (a word I don't like to begin with) as either "prey" or "victim" (words I like even less in PU).
But Grape was right. It has some ingenious ideas, most of which are already basic knowledge in the community, but still, it's cool he figured this all out himself. It's a little hard to apply most of it to real life, because it's not as much of a how-to book as a detailed explanatory book on what seduction is. Also it gets points because I love how it references and examines a lot of famous, esoteric figures in history that I felt good for already knowing about. (Appealed to my vanity, as Robert Greene would say)
and as for Sphinx of Imagination..... I think I found myself. I listened to it for the first time tonight, and saw really crazy visions.
I know why I chose the name Mandrake now, I know the secrets to heroism now, and I'm pretty sure that I'm the reincarnation of Walt Whitman.
Yeah...I don't really believe in reincarnation, but I'm pretty sure that's what the vision was telling me. It was trippy. And I think it was actually a good idea that I bought the CD anyway, because the quality of the audio was top notch
Sphinx gets my seal of approval. It fucks with your head though, I saw another universe, and it's pretty depressing now that I'm stuck back here.

Three books that helped me were:
1-The Game_by Neil Strauss-even though it didnt get that much info as far as how to with this book it still helped a lot as an introduction to the community and the different aspects of the game.
2-Pua Notes:The Unfair Advantage_by psykik_underground- this book is just crammed full of stuff you can use and its got good info and advice on almost every part of the game
3-How to win friends and influence people_ by dail carnegie- this book is really old (like 1930s) but its still really good and helped me out a lot when i was starting out and still does. it talks about basically how you can still be successful if you dont act like an ass and use people. One of the best things that ive found to help you with rapport.

I've never had any visions or shit like that, are you sure you weren't slipped acid before you listened to it? But seriously, I love the Sphinx. Each time I listen to it, I feel open and at one with myself. Also, I can't seem to stop smiling when I'm done listening to it. Seriously, I tried to force myself to frown but couldn't do it. Whatever that Hugh Jackman-esque Wolverine look alike is doing, he's doing it right!
