The art of Conversation (help books?)

Hope everyone’s going well.

Well I’ve dropped the whole PUA thing, and I’ve started focusing on making me the best I can be as a person. So recently I’ve been feeling fucken FANTASTIC. It’s an awesome feeling I must say. ;D


Though one thing that has been holding me back in life in general, is my conversation skills. I have none at all. Even with my own mother I have a hard time holding a decent conversation.

So I’m just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on this topic. Preferably not pua specific. I want to be able to hold a conversation with males, females, old people, and young people.

your not alone i have the same problem i just can't hold a conversation, its like i just can't think of anything to say. It was pretty bad when I opened some chic and that that was it. Simple opinion opener and I had to say afterwards. It was awkward. I nice to have someone bring that up.

read, be it politics, science, relationship mumbo jumbo. learn about were you live, learn about fashion, ect ect. Just gather knowledge, it doesnt have to be nerdy, or political, or religous, but just try to find out about stuff. Talk about the drinking age, or what cars you like, since you should try not to ask to many questions.

Dude this is so simple but it took me a while to learn it. What are the chances that you both have an interest in the same indie band? How about the chances that she knows something about your favorite weapons in COD? Do you think she knows or cares what Obama is planning for enviornmental protection?

Yeah good luck with that. The key to getting conversation going is taking a general topic and telling great stories under one header. Take my first question above. Talk about your indie band and why they are good. Give her your ipod, and have her listen to it. Now that she knows something she will voice her opinion. Let her talk about her favorite band and how they are different. Notice how neither of you have to know what the other is talking about but because it under the category of music you can branch off and DEVELOP OPINIONS AND IDEAS ON THE GO.

If you are stuck, this topic will save your ass: your friends and what you guys do. Girls get wet just talking about relationships and guys and girls and parties and everything like that. One of your friends likes a girl, talk about how awkward or funny it is. Mimic him stammering how much he loves her. This adds some tension to your convos which is perfect.
