Alright I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday to school, some days I'll wear a button-down, but most of my clothes are pretty old. I plan to go shopping sometime soon so I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas on what I could wear besides t-shirts and jeans!

Button ups and jeans are pretty good, like a really nice 'Rage' one or something, mine was $90. I don't really wear anything besides jeans and tees, sure I'll wear a button down or a polo regularly, but not nearly as much as my t-shirts. Oh plaid's really 'in' right now, even though it's been around since the start of grunge. I have a gray and white plaid-button up I wear sometimes, I think it looks awesome, AE for like $30. If you're into sports you could rock a jersey, but I never do. Every now and again I'll wear a vest to school, but that's pretty rare. Oh and layering can completely change your outfit. Make sure to grab a coat or two so that you can change it up even if it's the same shirt.
Have you thought about maybe going out and getting a different cut of jeans? What you do is find a wash you like, take the different cuts they have along with some different sizes, and then check each in a mirror so you can find what looks best. My recommendation is to find some that make your ass look good, though only if you're in decent shape. It should be a long process to find the perfect jeans, and then you repeat at a different store or with a different brand cause each has a certain style of cut they use and all their washes are different.

I usually go for a more rock-oriented style, and yeah I'm not really a big fan of polos.

I usually go for a more rock-oriented style, and yeah I'm not really a big fan of polos. Rocker style is the best, as long as you have the congruence to back it up. Get yourself a couple pairs of jeans, a couple v-necks, and a thrift-store light jacket. If you can find a thin leather or canvas jacket with some hardcore style, you're golden. Accessorize. For the rocker asthetic, accessorize a lot. Leather cuffs, four necklaces, studded belts. On the other hand, make sure you don't look like a clown. Sometimes all you need is one necklace. Experiment. Ask one of your female friends to help you out.

Yeah duude necklaces are the shit. Im kinda in the same boat as Enigma here. I have the congruence of the "rocker" but i usually just wear t shirts and jeans. I accessorize quite a bit. Usually two necklaces, three rings, and a belt buckle. But yeah, Nine, you kinda seem like a fashion expert, i like your advice, im gonna start layering more.

I loveeeee fashion! Ok my tips: - wear lots and lots of accessories (multiple rings, necklaces, wrist bands/watches. Accessorizeee! Get a kick ass belt buckle - avoid just t-shirts, it is boring - If you ever wear a t shirt, throw something on top of it (like a vest, sweater, ect) - Blazers, coats, and jackets are awsomee! They are just great - Plain button ups are boring, for the best button ups check out www.buckle.com- If you wear a button up, try to put a sweater on it, a t shirt on top, ect. Dont wear an undershirt under it, I REPEAT DONT WEAR AN UNDERSHIRT. Dont button 2-3 buttons from the top. Show that chest! - Burn your sneakerrrrrrrsss! Wear boots. (If you got the money, and want kick ass boots get a pair of new rocks! They are great - I gots me a pair. I love cowboy boots too. - Go for tighter pants, if you can. Thats what I can think of off of the top of my head for now. Personally my style is rockstar. Enjoy!

I actually don't like a lot of the affliction t-shirts. I think they have too much glitter and shiny crap on them lol

Affliction isn't overworn where I am, because most people dress like carbon copies of the exact same skater douche. Peacocking is pretty easy for me... most people roll up to parties in wifebeaters and jeans. Hollister never caught on with the guys.

Dude you're lucky. My school is filled with a bunch of guys that want to be preppy, but aren't, so it isn't unlikely for me to see ten guys wearing hollister Tshirts in a row.
And mix it up. You can wear a buttoned shirt some days, but you can sometimes wear a tee. You can wear a whole ton of accessories most of the time, but maybe keep it to just a necklace and a ring once a month. If you always wear the same thing you'll become old news. Just a little variation goes a long way.
