Lets face it, were in high school. This means that almost every single person you interact with is playing judge jury and excecutioner.
But there is hope.
Think about all the times today at school you were passing judgement on somebody else. Not often right? For me at least, most people fall into the "generic peer or classmate" category while only a few people fall into the "your a tool," "your a dick," or for some the "your awesome" category.
Now, think about all the times that you were WORRIED that somebody was passing judgement on you. Were you convinced that that hot babe who sits behind you in english was staring at you as you walked to the trash can? Or just facing the giant mass in the cafeteria. Probably a lot more.
Heres a fact that I read that really helped me LET GO of what I THOUGHT others thought about me and lose some of that self conscienceness
90% percent of the time when two people meet, each person is thinking "i wonder what the other person thinks of me, am i giving out a good impression, are my shoes shined, blahblahblah." Were usually so consumed with what others think that we dont even have time to pass judgement or more importantly, read a social scene.
For me at least, when i meet people, its 90% okay this dudes alright (usually most people start off good; im a friendly person), and the remaining 10% is split between "this person is an idiot, i dont really like them" (3 percent) and "I really really like this person (7 percent)
Pretty much if your worried about what others think, 90 percent of the time your wasting your energy.
But there is hope.
