So I started talking to more ppl and have been getting invited out to places =] However, it really bothers me when I hear my friend is having a sweet 16 or party and I'm not invited =/ I dont invite them out anywhere, but I've hung out with some of them outside of school with mutual friends. Should I invite them to places and hope they start inviting me? Should I just ask where it is and show up when somebody says "Are you going to -names- party/sweet 16?" I feel bad asking the host if I can come, but is that acceptable in high school? I'm probably overthinking this, but I want to make sure I have plenty of places to go in the summer

You're over thinking it, no you can't ask to come
if you act cool and show that you're a good time, and fun to be around you'll get invited
of course it always helps to throw your own shindig as a way of showing people just how fun you are

^True that. My parents never let me have any of my mates crash for a bit which sucks lol.

If its a party, you don't ask if you can come.
YOU FUCKING SHOW UP WITH SOME PEOPLE!
Any person that throws a party understands that people they didn't invite WILL show up

I went to two parties just friday that I Had no idea who the host was until I met up with my friends, they didn't care at all, as long as you aren't a stupid idiot and ruin the fun.
