This girl at school is making excuses so she can hold my arm/hand. Is this friendly, or is she trying to flirt with me? She's an 8/10 in my books, way out of my league (says my friends. They've tried talking to her but it just never went without her saying no), and we have common interests.
On Friday, we had a retreat at school to go to the local parish (catholic school, so go figure), and we had this event called a 'speed talking'. [We were talking to each other for 30 seconds and had to answer the teacher's questions that we were supposed to talk to each other about.] Once I talked to her, I instantly looked into her eyes and listened to everything she was saying. We kept the conversation moving until the teacher told us to switch.
Then when we got ourselves into groups, she dragged me in, holding my arm. I started to wonder if this was a friendly gesture or she was trying to flirt with me, but when everyone stood up, she was being a 'damsel in distress', signalling me to pull her up.
I like her, but I don't think she likes me the same way I do for her. I have a good reputation, since I changed schools, and no one knows about my past rep. Back in grade school, I was a nerd, now I'm higher than that. I'm better than that.
She's a smart and hot (braces, brunette, great smile, and slim), likes science, like me. She wants a nice guy, or a man who can care for her, so she can feel safe. I know one of youse might think this is corny, or cliched, but its the truth. And the rules tell me to speak the truth.
What can I say for us to be a couple? I can speak fine to her, and all, but I want to know how I can enhance this relationship between us. She also does workouts. Cardio workouts. I do both cardio and strength workouts.
TL;DR: I think this girl is trying to flirt with me, looking for excuses to hold my arm/hand, and she's hot. What can I say to her when I want to ask her out?
