Tommorow, on Halloween, I have an unbelievable opporitunity. I'm going to a party a local college. EVERYONE is going to be there. For the first time in MY LIFE, I will have an opporitunity to game a room with hundreds of people my age (the main social circle with the most HBs at my school is extremely exclusive, I'm in it, but not many other people are and I've struck out with every girl in it back in my AFC days).
I know I can OWN that party. I know more theory than almost everyone I know, including most of you. I've even gotten some good infield experience lately. I have the raw skill necessary to succeed.
And I have some MAJOR help. A good friend of mine who happens to be the best natural that I know is coming with me as well as another good friend of mine. They are both well-versed in PU.
The only problem - I'm getting really anxious about it. For the first time in my life, EVERYTHING is lined up in my favour. Now I have to execute.
Any type of support or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

sounds like you are too attatched to the outcome. Just make it a goal for yourself to go out and have fun and detatch from your expectations

What can I say man? This is your crucible. You either succeed or you don't. It's one of those moments where you have to perform, no questions asked. Not because it's asked of you, but because this is what you do. You're a pick-up artist. Not some wannabe kid who just picked up a book, not some jock who thinks they're great with women, not a freakin nerd. You're a goddamn pick-up artist.
I don't know about you, but whenever I'm under pressure I'm a lot better at anything.

Nine, wow, that got me really pumped up. That comment is SO going on my cellphone as a text message draft, along with the other cheat-sheet things that I already have on there.
As for Chris' comment, expectations of outcome have killed me at other parties before, so I smartened up and really made sure that my only motives for going there were to have fun and improve my social skill set. Unfortunately, it didn't really matter as the thing got cancelled at the LAST MINUTE.
Normally, that would have put me in a TERRIBLE mood and would have effectively ended any chance of me having fun that night. But because my expectations weren't through the roof like they typically are for events like this, I wasn't depressed or angry, just kind of disappointed, which is natural.
I'm definitely not letting this deter me though, I was READY for this party and I will have my day soon. Count on it.
