As the Pick Up community gradually grows, people have been suggesting that high school PUAs make a forum of their own.
I have taken a liberty to do so and now we start with getting to know each other.

Hi, I'm Grape. I'm turning into a sophomore in September 2008 and I'm living in Michigan. I would consider myself a PUA and my current goal is to contribute something BIG to the community that changed my life.

Hey, I'm Enigma. I'm 17 and will be a junior this August. I live in Florida and right now I'd say that I am probably a rAFC or aspiring PUA lol that sounds a little better. My goal is to meet more woman, have success with them, and just enjoy life.

Hey boys my name is Chrispb7. Im sixteen going into my junior year in September '08 and I live in Utah. I have been studying this stuff hard for about a year now and I consider myself a PUA. My current goal is to get more women man.

I Know it is sorta long, but i am really opening up here, and I hope the community welcomes me...

Next year i will be a senior in high school, however I am not like most high schoolers. I do not "get laid" or even front like I do. Im not a total loser, but I would recieve about four or five hugs a YEAR while most guys my age get that many a day. In my social circle, I am well respected for everything except my ability to even talk to girls.

last year i became very depressed over this(among other things) and i tried to KILL MYSELf. . . Thank god i failed. I am much more stable now. Believe it or not, I was introduced to this stuff by a psychiatrist. I dont wish to become a master pua or anything like that(although it would be nice)-- i just want to be respected in this area by peers. It would also be nice to get a first kiss by the time i turn 18 . . .

My biggest problems are approach anxiety and confidence. Most people with approach anxiety get nervous approaching a girl, but i cant even look in a girls eyes! It is a reflex to look away and i cant stop it no matter what.

Any immiediate advice would really help. Thanks A lot!

Welcome bro!! You're more than welcome here. This forum is very new so it'll stay calm for a time, but it's growing. (:
Let me start off by saying we all know what you've been through. Many of us started off not even being able to talk normally to girls or even stand next to them without sweating our pits off.
But as TIME progressed and we put in more effort to improve ourselves, we changed for the better and we're at a level where we can have fun with everyone around us.

Also, your psychiatrist probably looks into NLP, which is a form of hypnosis/psychology, and many PUAs use it as a tool while attracting women.

The PUA community will not only change your outcome with women, but it will change your interactions with EVERYONE. You'll feel happier, you'll be more confident, and you'll just enjoy life.

Lastly, give this time. You will have many hard times and screw ups as we all have. But giving up will only make you the same person you were a few months back. Keep on trying, and you'll be successful.

I think there is something to be learned from the movie 40 Year Old Virgin. One of the quotes is "Don't put the pussy on the pedastool". Lets diminsh that a bit, so you say you get really nervous when you are around women. What i would do you be to buy Rules of the Game. It will evaporate your AA (Approach Anxiety) and it will help you become the confident man you want to be. Also the best way to get AA to leave is to do about 30 Approaches daily, no matter what the girls say or even what you say you will get used to talking to hot girls, it will become natural and you will see results.

Here's my situation.... I have shit following me around from middle school and the first half of high school. (For instance, I basically stalked a chick for a year, and her whole grade knows about it) I've realized that to get my status back, I can't care what others think. And we all know what comes with status (and a few well planned negs and patterns) in high school... So my goal this year is to make sure everybody knows who I am while bagging more than a few HBs on the way.
