I've talked to a few of a few of you but want to post this here. Basically my situation is that I had surgery a few weeks ago and got pain meds to help with the pain. Unfortunately I got addicted and started to ween myself off them. Today was to be my last day on them and it was also my stupidest day. I was on the high and started to make some ridiculous claims in facebook (goddamn that site). So after going on for about 55 posts I finally came down. After going back I realized how big of an impact this had. Any rep I had built up in my school was gone. Everyone thinks I'm a complete douche. It shattered my confidence and sent me into a spiraling depression. Any advice, suggestions, hate accepted.

Lol this is a PU community, not alot of hate kicking around so don't worry haha. Seriously man, don't fuck with drugs. That shit will mess you, I promise. But fuck it, it's over. Learn from it, don't do it again. Not much you can do about the people at your school, but it'll fix itself. The change has to occur in you other then them though. Your confidence should be an internally gotten thing, not an externally given thing. Get true confidence so shit like this can't fuck you up. You've probably got a really negative chain of thought going right now, go out, game, break the chain. And just apologize to the people you might've pissed off. Not the 'OMG OMG PLEASE LIKE ME!' frame but the 'Hey. Made a mistake. My bad man.' frame. You'll be fine  ! Just don't fuck with your body chem anymore and stop being so fucking negative. |

yea dude he's right, heavy drugs can really fuck you up...
but yea if someone brings it up just tell em that you fucked up, and you could throw out the excuse that you were on prescription drugs (damn doctors...) but just roll with it

Thanks guys, honestly the only reason I posted this was to get it out of my system. As soon as I got to school this morning the game was back on. Honestly, the kids I was talking to can go fuck themselves for all I care, it was mostly the depression from coming out of the high. So glad that shits outta my system. Seriously unless your in so much pain it's fucking with you system (the only reason I accepted them was because I actually couldn't breathe) never accept pain pills.
