He wasn't banned, he deleted his own account. I just checked the security log. It was probably because the staff gave him too much disrespect. Moral of the story: Don't disrespect others even if they do it to you. Be sincere and bring them into your state of fun, enjoyment, and respect. No matter how hard. Gay's human too. He craved his power from a while back. He tried to set frames that he'd be a leader on the forum. Staff didn't like it, he was being too up front and we felt he 'needed our permission'.
Human instincts and psychology fucked it up. Woohoo. Read the 48 laws of power, take it into serious consideration.
So.. Gay, if you're reading this, I'm sorry. I wanted you here. You wanted power. Sometimes being that confident guy won't help, sometimes you have to strike the egos of the leaders in order to get what you want.
Staff, I feared this would happen. Next time, let's try to tame, not kill.

This does sadden me, Gay had a lot to offer the site. Just to be clear, he is welcome back right?

Oh yes! We had a wonderful talk about it on AIM. I told him to come back whenever he pleased.
He claimed that pick up forums weren't nearly as good as learning in person.. so.. yeah

I agree that there is nothing like learning in person (I'm still looking for a mentor btw, haven't had the chance to learn anything face-to-face with a PUM yet), forums are great places to learn. This is what they did in the very beginning, before all the seminars and such.

I agree. You definitely need to learn in person, or experiment and practice. But forums are just added help.
