Until today, my life revolved around social "stuff". I didn't realize it before, but all week I'd hardly wait to go out on saturday only to be gravely disappointed. So guess what - I'll stop. Instead, I've found something that makes me feel really good, something that was here for me all the time - GUITAR. MUSIC. AUDIO. NOTHING gets me so happy like listening to Gary Moore and B.B. King's duo (or duet? I was never too good with music theory) on The Thrill Is Gone. BTW if you like blues, tell me and I'll send it. Really, music can be ANYTHING. Happy, sad, mourning, exciting, anything. And only one thing is better than listening to music - and it's making it . Hey, if you play guitar, just learn the blues scale and go to www.jamcenter.com/. OK, so why is this in Inner Game section? Because I think that EVERYONE - yes, every one of us on this forum - has a passion. Something that he is really good at and likes it. All you have to do is to find it and devote yourself to it - and it WILL pay off. Oh, and to tell you, going out with boring people just to go out is stupid. Going out with people you like is much much better. |

agreed 100% honestly, I believe that PUA actually isnt about picking up girls (believe it or not haha), i see it as a way for one to better him/herself in a way that makes everybody win  running game and whatever is just a way of testing how much youve improved  so i agree with your title ohh and the post  |

( Tailing what you said ) Its About being a better person Socially and Adapting Characteristics that helps you cope with certain situations and Can teach you new things Like Wording, Comebacks ( LOL ) and certanly Confidence! ^_^ At least thats what my logic tells me about it.. xP |

I don't think pick-up was ever made intentionally as a result of not being laid. I think it was more because of a need for social acceptance. That's just my hypothesis though.

i totally agree being into pua isn't about the girls for me either. For me it's about giving yourself confidence, becoming socially adaptable and having the power to connect with people easier and quicker. enhancing not only your own life but theirs too, because everyone has a part of themselves which can bring something different to others lives, all pua does is teach to how to express it... and if that gets me meeting a bunch of great girls along the way then great |
