Ever since a small style change a few weeks ago, which was a mix between classy prep and trashy bandie, girls have given me a TON of attention. They opened me. They gave me stares across the room along with cute smiles. And when I approached, I could tell "I can't believe he's talking to me!" Gotta admit I felt pretty good. But I later asked why one was smiling at me, she said I looked very cute. I asked "How so?" She told me that I had a really cool style with fashion and that it seemed like "I knew my stuff." I asked her what she would think of me if I wore a baggy t-shirt and some cheap jeans, and she said I'd look very ugly.
So... I guess Style really means it when he says style matters.

Make your own dude. Just right now I'm wearing a blazer over a crazy hoodie over a white-formal long sleeve. with preppy jeans with a ghetto belt.

Fashion is so important because:
Obviously the clothes didn't pop out of the drawer, you put them on yourself and implies that you actually have a sense of style.
Men are seen to be attractive to a woman more often by the clothes they where, rather than how they would look naked. (not an excuse to not stay fit!)
Just by looking at your clothes, a woman will subconsciously assume that you are creative, sexy, boring etc, depending on what you're wearing at that present moment.
She will assume that you live a lifestyle similar to other people she has seen that dress like you. This also means stereotypes. If you dress like a rockstar, she's going to assume that you have a rockstar lifestyle. (SEX DRUGS AND ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
In the end, your style is your identity, it's who you are. How you dress reflects who you are as a person and it's a window into your lifestyle. So display it PROUDLY!

He's just saying make your own style. Mix and match things together that you wouldn't normally see worn together.

Lately what I've been working on has been my style and voice (on a tangent, can someone send me a good voice training program...I did this one by Jonathan Altfeld and my voice sounds the same). ANYWAY.... Nice post. If a style isn't you then the style is worthless. That's part of the beauty of it. Something that seems so superficial helps you go deep into yourself to find your own identity. Deep man, I was thinking something along the same lines. Whoa....reread that ^_^ ....I didn't just hit a bong, I swear
