One thing I've learned since I started mixing gaming with school is that approach confidence is a lot like the confidence you need to do a presentation in class, and there are 2 easy ways to increase your confidence.
1. Know your material.
Ever gone into a presentation not knowing your stuff? I have and damn it sucks. You just stand there and realize that you just screwed yourself and you look like a jackass. When you go up and you know all of your stuff and you're prepared your confidence is tenfold. Now, with women which of those would you chose? I definitely would chose the latter cause looking like a jackass is not my thing...
ANYWAY to get to the point, study your shit before you go sarging. You can feel prepared when you get out into the field and everything is just so much easier.
2. PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!
Go in front of a mirror before you go and sarge. Say your lines and look at your body language. Do you look confident, sexy, mysterious?
If you need some practice with cocky/funny go to a restaurant and start messing with the waiter/waitress. Practice all of your lines on her. Hell, she cant reject you. What would that mean, give you another waitress? Well if it does than your in luck because you can get even more practice in.
In the end though you still will need to make an approach, but when you do get yourself to do so, all this can do is help!
