Don't give yourself soo much alone time so that you start thinking about problems and try to think about how to fix them. It usually won't lead to anything useful, because you're thinking about a 'negative', not a positive. No direction to work towards, just WHY OH WHY AM I SO UGLY! Don't think about yourself arguing, proving yourself, explaining something that is difficult, or anything. Subconscious has a hard time dissociating between reality and imagination. The more you think about bad stuff, the worse you become.
Okay? The brain is constantly releasing chemicals. Stress/anger releases bad chemicals. Happiness/joy releases good chemicals.
Think about fun stuff. Think about funny stuff. Think about excitement, humor, etc. This will NATURALLY make your brain release good chemicals that if 'gathered up' for a certain amount of time, your brain will adapt and release a constant amount all the time. Which'll bring you into a naturally good mood a lot of the time.
Mood states tend to be exponential.
So don't drown yourself with anything. Just simply don't even engage stressful events. Your life will improve.
