Hey guys! I downloaded the P90X! Well. This is gonna be progress, how I feel, how much it works, how much I love it. Pictures, starting, 30 days, 60, 90 days. All that fucking shit! -------------------- I'm super duper excited! I'm tried of being this nerdy ass white kid and finally I'm doing something about it! (for once torrenting actually helps me? Crazy.) --------------------- As of right now i'm reading the Fitness guide, and looking over the nutrition guide. I'm going to follow every part of it, as much as possible. I'll be trying to buy some Protein shake stuff, and some bands and what not to do the exercises with. Well. I just wanted to start this thread, I'll actually post pictures and my day 1 thoughts probably, Friday or Sunday when I start it. Woot.

Nice. Good luck to you, you're gonna need it. I've recently started the P90X ab ripper and I've already seen amazing results. I'm not sure if you're a big workout nut, but even if you have an off day, still workout because chances are you'll feel better after working out and you'll feel better about yourself for pushing yourself to do this because it really helps in the long run. I hope you're ready to completely transform your body, because that's whats gonna happen

So I just finished the Chest and Back work out, and the Ab ripper X.... Woah, first...My arms are so tired, plugging in my iphone was hard. Second. Damn those are hard. Third, ab ripper. God I love working my abs. It felts great. great exercises. All I need are the supplies now, the drinks, the bars. etc. Here are pictures of me before the work out....if you look at them, you'll see why I'm doing this program. time to jump into the shower. well u have pretty much no body fat, which is a good place to start. Personaly, im built much bigger than you, which helps.

Haha yeah. If it says use 3 scoops, do 2. Pro tip: use a blender to mix it with the milk/water w/e you use. Just stirring it with a spoon isn't enough, you really need the blender to be able to choke that shit down, otherwise it's much too lumpy and thick.

At the Vitamin Shoppe by my house, they have some good-tasting protein. You sorta get what you pay for with it. I have Jay Robb's protein or whatever, it has a creepy-looking guy on the bottle, but it tastes *good*. I use the chocolate for mixing with milk, and the vanilla for stirring in with yogurt. The protein and yogurt is a good-tasting and healthy snack, just keep stirring until it's not lumpy. As for the chocolate milk, my Mom has this Braun blender/mixer thing... I think it's called a "multiquick hand blender" or something. We have a bunch, I could sell one to anyone who wants it.
So Get the protein with the creepy guy named Jay on the bottle, and you can substitute better-tasting stuff for what P90X recommends if you look at what's in it and find something else with the same stuff in a diff. flavor.
Get the blender thing from me or target or something.

Best way to make nasty shakes taste great:
Natural honey
Not much more expensive than normal honey, tastes about the same, is much healthier and less sugary, and it makes your drinks taste acceptable, if not great.

^^ You're forcing yourself to drink too much. I know the feeling, but I stopped getting it when I used nonfat milk, and used more than what it said on the bottle.
Just milk and powder. Extra NONFAT milk, blended extra. I'm a baby, but I drink all of my protein.
