Nice. Good luck to you, you're gonna need it. I've recently started the P90X ab ripper and I've already seen amazing results. I'm not sure if you're a big workout nut, but even if you have an off day, still workout because chances are you'll feel better after working out and you'll feel better about yourself for pushing yourself to do this because it really helps in the long run. I hope you're ready to completely transform your body, because that's whats gonna happen Don't workout on your rest days, they're essential to building muscle. A bricklayer lifts more often and sometimes more than a bodybuilder does, but a bodybuilder almost always has bigger muscles than the bricklayer. Why? The bodybuilder takes days off to allow his muscles to recover where as the bricklayers job is to lay bricks pretty much every day of the week so he doesn't get much rest. This is a pretty simple example but it gets the point across a fair amount. (Now that I re-read aarons reply I think he meant workout even if you have an off day like you feel like shit and don't feel like working out, my bad if that's what you meant.) Be sure to drink your protein shake as soon as you get done with your workouts. Good luck bro and stay motivated.

Good too see that your also doing the P90X workout program, I did it for 2 months and it worked wonders for me, I don't know if you got the complete workout schedule since you downloaded everything so if you have any questions or concerns I'll be glad to help you out. I went on somewhat of a fitness/health journey of my own my highest weight was 205 when I was 15 years old I am now 165 and 16 years old ;-) So I do have a fair share of knowledge. Don't be afraid to ask about anything! Good luck! PS: Don't forget to post some Pics! You'll appreciate them after you finish the plan, trust me!

Only do P90x if ur fat. And with protein shakes u should put stuff like fruits in it mabey some vegs or greens plus. creatine helped me soo much as a pre-work out that shit is crazy, but dont take it if ur not doing a very intense work out or u could get fuild build up in your joints. I defently recomend it tho. Some days you just wont wanna do a work soo its the best motivater . The only other thing to remember in 1 gram of protein to a pound of weight. Id cut carbs too if ur fat.(fat is just stored energy btw). just looked at the pics if ur only looking to get into shape and becoming realy defined its great, but it realy wont build muscle.I use to read for like 3 hours each day for a year about work out shit and did a year of sports medication in hs, soo i know lil bit about this topic.
Edit; if ur going to take creatine down a shit ton of water (witch u should be doing anyways.) TAKE CREATINE!!!!!! unless u are very very fucked in the head and self motivated. sorry for all the ranting btw

P90X is awesome. I just started ab ripper X (only done it twice) but that's because we do core workout at boxing 3x/week. i'm still scrawny tho, fuck.
except i've gained a little weight which is hopefully muscle (from 110 to about 115) and it's more noticeable in my arms and abs. still less than your average 15 year old however...

Basically, Gay, lifting comes out to this: -Work hard -Eat hard Protein, Creatine, etc is when you find that you cannot get to your goals on your own. Lift hard, eat a lot, burn a lot.

Still going because I havent gotten down to my goal yet but 185 and I will be happy. Best workout ever

The weight lifter takes days off to permit his muscles to recover where as the bricklayers job is to lay bricks much every day of the week so they doesn't get much rest. This is a simple example but it gets the point across a fair amount.

Im sorry to do this people, BUT........Insanity is better than P90X. Im sorry, Im sorry, but i had to get that off my 'chest'.
Notice how i put chest, for emphasis on how insanity turns your man boobs into chest. Bam. I like to call those easter eggs, baby.

I believe those are puns, which proves that people who use P90X are smarter than Insanity users.
I have no idea where I am
