Being your best self, or being "in-state" is an uncommon occurence that seems to happen every once-in-a-while. It is the place where we play our best game, doing the kinds of things that we could only dream about beforehand. Everybody talks about exactly what this state is and there are some great threads on that already (look at Mandrake's post "psych on being in-state).
BUT, I HAVE HAD FAR TOO MUCH TROUBLE FINDING ANY THREADS ON HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS STATE MYSELF
It's almost like "getting lucky"
Origionally this thread was supposed to be a question, asking for advice on how to do this, but I had NO IDEA where to put it.
So i asked Grape and the conversation played out like this:
