I don't gotta do shit from my house!!!!
I dont' have free weights, so after buying the weights its gonna already have cost quite a bit, and for not THAT much more I can have 3 months of a gym membership which is so much more than just the free weights.
plus the psych behind these programs, if you don't spend money on it, you're less likely to follow through, and since i'm not buying p90x I need to make sure I'm paying for something.

Or you could just have you own motivation.
Man up and complete something for once. Thats what I tell myself.

I did P90X for like two weeks, but due to being lazy and still a bit small i decided to just pump the free weights, which will help me gain more mass with ~ 5 hours less workout time I never did the yoga, like when i've done it before I like it a lot but beforehand i'm like that shit's a waste of time I'm already pretty cut though, and I still do ab ripper. Shit rocks. Also kristall where are you going to in the military? I've actually been thinking of joining up as a "healthcare specialist" (field medic) or just infantry or something in a few years, the only thing that turns me off is the 8 year commitment, I'd definitely do it if it was just like 2 or something. Plus i've heard that you can get stuck in a hospital or something as a 77W and that would make my whole ideal for joining the military moot

um, its not 8 years, its 4 (5 for things that require extra training)
And if you apply to be a combat medic you'll be a combat medic. and no body calls that shit medical spec. I'm going into the marines as an aircraft engineer/avionics and later become a helicopter combat pilot.
In general, if you apply for the things most people want to avoid, you'll get it, since they'd much rather send someone that wants to, then force someone that doesn't. Which is useful for me since i WANT to go overseas. Hopefully I won't be spending any time other than training in the states.

I talked to one of my friends that had signed months before and I was like "hey, lets go talk to your recruiter today!" and he's like "sweet"
so we went in, I taled to SSgt Buchanan about my motivations for even thinkign about the marine corps, what makes the Marines different from the other branches and blah blah. Took the EST and got a 93. That was Monday. Wednesday I went to MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) to take the ASVAB and got a 99. Friday I went down to the Hotel by MEPS and 4am saturday started getting processed and Swore the Oath of the Armed Forces around 2pm.

Guys? Do you have to join the military? Our countries haven't got the best track record for having reasons behind their wars. My father was once set on a 24 hour alert that would have had his sections marching into East Berlin and trying to seize it. That would have certainly started nuclear war, but he was not allowed to contest it, due to the whole system of the military. Would you really be happy having to do things you think are immoral? That's why I would personally never join the army.

I'd never join the Army because th Army is for the weak.
I'm joining the Marine Corps because it can provide me with so much. Adventure, security, confidence, healthy lifestyle, brotherhood, honor, courage, commitment.

and your answer to my question on the immorality of your actions...?
*edit* and I never said anything about the army, just the whole military. You seem to be answering a question you want to answer, despite it never having existed. You've said what it does for you, but I was never contesting that. I'm saying it can be immoral.

And I don't give a crap.
I'm pretty much anarchist when it comes to government parties (with the pirate party a close second).
But since war can't be stopped, i re-paint it in a positive light: population control.

so you're amoral? that's a pretty big statement, as it means you do not care about how the consequences of your actions effect others. how that must play out in your pickup chills me slightly

We live our lives.
These wars are ultimately unchangeable and insignificant. Thus it doesn't matter.

So... if WARS are insignificant, then you must also, logically, believe that things like, murder, theft and rape are too. I couldn't live like that.
