Take some Melatonin pills. Works perfect because you don't get too dependent on it.

Spend more energy during the day Exactly. Just work out more or run or you could always try the warm milk! You should never have to rely on pills if you don't have to.

Yeah, I agree with these guys, Dont take pills! Just try to relax and take it easy before going to sleep, listen to some piano sonata on your iPod or something.
Also, Have you tried track? or at least running? =D It's frigging awesome!

LOL I had exactly the same problem a few times. No matter what time I sleep I will wake up at exactly 4am. Solution I used -- 1. Like Gay said, spend more energy in the day. I went for a stayover, had a really wild time and went I got home that night, I sleep like sleeping beauty. 2. Don't sleep the whole day (12am-12am). lol, you will be very tempted to lie on your bed for just a min and then...ZzZzZzZz. But it works Facing this problem again =.= . NOt sleeping *yawn*.. its 5.45am, hours and hours to go. lol watching deep phone seduction

I think i can help you out on this one. In 2004, i encountered a similar problem. I used to get really sleepy at around 4-5 pm, and i couldn't sleep at night. Not even a freakin 30 min. So my mom took me to the doctor, and he gave me three tips. First, Drink water and sweat it out. 2nd--Drink a special mixture of a local plant root and water. I don't what it is called in english but i think it had a lot of antioxidant and vitamins. I think a handful of blue berries would do the job. And lastly, a trick for my mind. First you have to be in the moment. Forget your past, your future, everything as if you are just born. Then close your eyes and relax. And then start counting backwards from 100. There is a trick here, You have to tell yourself that by the time you hit a certain number, you will feel very very sleepy. I don't how or why it works, i just know it works. Try it out.
