Definitely new school dude.
It's hard to change a person's first impression of you, and they have several impressions. So go to that high population school. (It'll be harder though, but the rewards will be greater.)

Transfer to that big school dude. Big schools fucking rock, because you can get away with so much. In big schools there is no popularity, because theres just so many people. Its just a matter of, how many people you know. And the more diverse the school (the more different types of people, the more diverse the clothing, the more people look different from each other - which mostly big schools are diverse) the more and harder you can peacock.
Big schools are fun man, cause you can get away with a lot more then in small schools. Go for it!

Great post, Gay. You said you've transferred schools twice, sometimes I think that can be a good thing. I've built up a reputation (which I must add isn't the best ). I'm pretty sure I could do what you described but it would seem really weird because I'm not really seen as that outgoing of a person. I'm pretty quiet (not like nerds but because I don't usually have a lot to talk about). I'm thinking about transferring to a different school next year, it has more people and more HB's. Thing is a new school that is like literally across the street from my house is opening and my class is basically going to be seen socially as the senior class for two years in a row (current juniors will stay at current school, while us the sophomores will transfer to the new one next year). What do you think? Transfer to North which is like 10-15 minutes away but it has a high population of people and chicks or transfer to the new one next year which will have a low population and same chicks I went to middle school with (not good, I had a TERRIBLE reputation in middle school). The way you make your old school sound is not flattering, at least in comparison to the newer school being built. Anyways just a tip - if you're going to make any changes to your outward personality, the beginning of the school year is optimum time. This is banking on the fact that you probably haven't seen a lot of your class during summer, so a radical change is possible. (Imagine someone doing that in the middle of the year, people will obviously think something's up. But right after summer, they will notice the change but instead usually greet you with a "Wow! You've changed so much over summer!" etc.)

I'm probably gonna start going to sports games and talking to the people there, and whichever school has the most HB's and coolest people (in my opinion of course) is the school I'll most likely end up going to. I'm willing to drive 15-20 minutes to school each day which gives me about 6 schools to check out. Most of them have pretty high population, there's maybe one or two out of those 6 that don't have very many people. Also, "a lot" of people here is probably different from where some of you live. When I say a lot I mean between 1,200-2,500 people.
Edit: Actually I found a count of all the schools.
Current School: 1141 (About to be split in half) North: 2429 (This is the one I was talking about earlier, might be a bit hard to get into but I may be able to.) West S: 2016 (This school is ballin. They only use laptops, they don't use books, they don't write their homework on paper... it's all computerized. They have a D2 college looking football field and several swimming pools plus a ballin weight room. Too bad this shit is the farthest away.) West: 1968 (Last time I tried getting into this school it was full) Burke: 1959 (Definitely an option, not too far away. Decent size) Gret.: 620 (Not really worth it, small school and pretty far away but the people seem pretty cool) Ben.: 328 (Not sure why I'm even putting this up here. However I met one of the hottest chicks ever here)

West S sounds like it would be the most fun. How far are we talking about?
And on the topic of it being awkward sitting next to random chicks, it's not. It's like going in for a kiss with a new girl. If you play it right, the fact that you have the social intelligence to go for it far outweighs any negatives. You're just meeting new people and having fun, not being a creeper.

Westside is 11 miles away. Google Maps says it takes 17 minutes to get there. Most the way there I would be taking a freeway like road (not an interstate) where the speed limit is 65 mph. Think I should go for it?

Sounds awesome. If it doesn't work, just transfer someone else. If college interviewers ask, just say that you liked the premise, but it was too far.
