Today, our class got into groups, girl was being disinterested. Fine. But check out my thought process.
Girl is either:
A) Intimidated (like I'm the hot girl and she's the nervous guy). B) In Intellectual mode C) Shit-testing
It just occurred to me that she may actually have been disinterested in me. When I realized that I hadn't actually considered that alternative, I was just like...wow....I am officially an optimist.

A lot of times when a girl is cold I just sort of insert myself in her life. Don't be rude or a jerk just make it a habit to exchange a few words. Last year I tried this with a girl who was so introverted that she finally opened up on the last semester of school. A little slow paced, but hey I got to know her finally.
Like I said don't be a jerk or anything don't care just keep talking. Eventually you'll find common ground and that's when she starts participating.
