Thinking of picking up this stuff for the wardrobe

So I have enough graphic tees and few pairs of levis so I was thinking of getting some long sleeve button up shirts since short sleeves make me look fat. I saw these I like the vertical strips makes me look taller and thiner. The shirts go well with jeans or slacks so I can wear them casually everyday or to a special event. What are your guys thoughts in them?

You have to try shirts on so you get the right size and fit. The only clothes that you are safe buying online are accessories, duplicates of clothes you already have, and sometimes sneakers.
