"HS was the best time of my life. No cares, just keggers on weekends and fun in the vo-tech. Good times, wish I could go back. I'd trade anything to go back"-my uncle.

I've heard it described as the worst time of your life I guess it all depends on what the rest of your life is like, if you work a boring and repetitive job every day for your whole life, then High School might be the best time of your life. If you have a happy life where you are not constantly stressed or at work, then you might be having a better time than you did in school.

I don't have much personal experience to judge college/beyond by, but I feel like saying high school is the best time of your life because you don't have many responsibilities is a pretty shallow way to judge life, there are a lot more important things to life than your amount of free time.

i'm willing to take on responsibilities if it means giving me more freedom. let's see, out of college i'll be: making my own money, living life on my own terms, having an influx of girls at my disposal and able to meet new ones, and meeting new people on an every day basis instead of being stuck in some fucking school with an imaginary social hierarchy filled with parental consent and curfew. no thank you.

College is the perfect mixture of freedom and responsibilites. For the first time you're out on your own and you can do what you want when you want. The real world is not all sunshine and rainbows guys. Once you get out of college, things change. Don't be so quick to grow up. Have as much fun as you can in HS and college... but college is still > HS
