There are two adages that I like to follow often
"Never let anyone know what you are thinking."
and the corollary to that, which will be my focus here,
"Always know what others think of you."
If you can control how someone else sees you, you have the power in the relationship and ultimately can control the flow of the relationship by dictating what and how much the person knows about you.
You can occomplish that by refining dual personas.
One thing that plagues many men is that they don't know how to play the mystery. Once the mystery is gone, then there is no sexual tension, no power, and no fun. Would poker be consistently that much fun if you could see everyones card from the get go? No. The game would be over instantly.
Never let them see ALL of you. Once they think theat they know you, present them with a new piece of information about you that hints that they only know the tip of the iceberg.
Example? absolutely.
I am known as cocky, funny, have a big ego, and get with women. So when women first meet me, thats what they see (always know how people see you!). After talking to me, ill drop the word about me being a hedonist, which happens to be a word that most people don't know, and shows I am very self-aware. What they learn through snippets of conversation and random droppings, is that i am HUGE on personal philosophies, a secret nerd, and truly a romantic at heart xD
Every single time that she learns a tiny bit of information, it shakes up her world about me. She doesn't know WHAT she knows now. In addition, the slow gradual release of information proves that your truly not one faceted. Even if you ARE on faceted, show different angles of that one fact. You can fake it haha.
REMEMBER: ALWAYS know what others think about you. Not so you can appease them or change them, but if you know how they see you, you can suprise them, fool them, etc, so that they TRULY will never know what you are thinking. Keep them guessing.
It all comes down to mystery. Don't show your hand.
