So besides a few fundamental problems, for example the age difference between high school students and the characters/the girls they approach in "The Game" it is a great story, well written, and has a good overview of the PUA world. I was thinking about giving it a 2nd read through but this time as I go along with Style I will do a simpler version of what he did. For example in the first couple chapters as he meets Mystery and largely focuses on him, I will read the Mystery Method. When he starts to go to the gym, I will. I will read the book far more slowly but take notes and go very in depth. The goal being in 30 days I will have done just about everything positive he did towards his game, and finish the book for a 2nd time. Now I don't expect in 1 month to become as good as Style...God no, that is not what I am saying at all. I simply want advice on 3 things. 1 Do you think this would work? To make one better with women, and socializing in general if you do a minicamp of what he did as he does it in the story shouldn't you remember it more, it make more sense, etc. 2 What are the basic books for much of what he reads. A basic for Ross Jeffries and NLP, a basic for cocky funny, a basic for Resputin and more. The basic for mystery, is the mystery method(2003 version). 3 Does anyone know a way to focus better, and remember better what you read. Since that is the main idea behind this, that if I go through with the book I will learn and remember more.
So please guys let me know what you think.

the game changed a LOT from when Style wrote his book. it's over exposed and complete crap.
you don't want style from The Game.
these days it's all about natural game, tyler d, etc.

To TD: Yes, however following his current methods are not my goal...being a "Mini" Style is not my goal. Being well rounded is.
To Grape: Tyler Durden as painted in the book was...(anyone watch Heroes?) like Sylar. Brilliant at analysis and breaking down techniques but...not natural at all. Grape I understand its become overexposed, I found it after it initially died down and before news of them making a movie about it. What I mean is, I was given it by my brother who found it in the back corner of a bookstore. I already mentioned I know you guys here are fans of natural game-but I think anything done well can work. I completely agree with you about the stuff being overexposed...but the sole reason I chose this book is because he journeys and tries many different styles of game. That is the aspect I like, I too want to be well rounded. Oh, and I sort of have a problem with natural game. Were you born with it? No, then how is it natural? Oh right its not.

natural game is simply you not having to use canned material or routines and not having to fake your values, beliefs, and personality.
define it further than that and you'll start getting into arguments.

Haha alright Grape. I still say if you aren't born with it you aren't a natural, and therefore you don't have natural game. That's the game I think we all hope to have one day. Though values, beliefs, and personality can change you shouldn't feel like you are lying to yourself. I think canned material is a good crutch to help you get started, but failure to create your own and failure to become more spontaneous is more spontaneous. So I don't like that being called "natural game", I think of that as simply "Good Game" and that is what I want. So really we aren't arguing over anything other than a name...which is pointless.

Ok I want to clear something up. Who you are as a person is about 50% genetic and 50% parental So even if your born a natural, with the wrong parenting you could just be a big geek. but if you live around hip amazing parents who like to socilaize than maybe you will turn out an amazing flirt.
and dont get angry at me for saying this, I could be wrong, but in my mind to be natural is to be the kind of person girls flock to, to be cool without even trying, you just are. You naturally breathe right? the social game everyone plays but naturals pull it off better, they dont need to hide behind something that they believe in 110%

White, I say live your own life bro. Work on your own values, and have people to guide you, not to mimic them.

Btw, there is no Rasputin. It's Hypnotica. Most of the names in The Game are changed.
For example: Grimble is a combination of Swinggcat and Craig from DYD.
