So ive been rocking the fohawk(fauxhawk w\e the fuck you want to call it) for a couple months now. Guys used to give me shit for it, but i got over it, they got over it no biggie.
But now, i kinda get the impression that im coming off as a tool when i wear it with a graphic tee or when i wear my oakleys. Like my sister and some of my older friends have kinda told me and given me shit for it
Also when i dont feel like messing with my hair, i put on a flat bill and kinda rotate it to the side.
Do i sound like im dresing like a tool or just is it because everyone watches Tool Academy and i resemble some of the guys on there?

nah faux hawk is the schmit =]. I find that girls aren't that much into it as much as guys tbh. They seem to be more in to the hairstyle every preppy kid I make fun of has . As long as you have social status you won't come off as a tool. I remember how a very unpopular kid brought one of those badass rock n' roll hats, and everyone kind of talked about it and looked at it as trying too hard, but when I wear hats like that girls compliment me, steal them, open me, etc.

Let me let you in on a secret, these guys are jealous of you. I rock the fohawk occasionally, and the girls love it. It goes with my style of clothes and personality, but I also wear it down if it suits the outfit.
We're talking about getting girls here, if the girls you're wheeling like it, then stick with it. When you're hanging with the boys, wear it however.

Do girls like it straight, or in a fauxhawk(fohawk)?

If your a tool then anything that you do or wear is toolish too.

Well if girls love it and your friend dont give you shit about it anymore what are you worried about? You just have to determine how much you like this new girl, and how much she doesn’t like your hair. Unfortunately in so many cases hair can make or break it my friends and i talk about it all the time. So you just have to decide if its that kind of situation, and if its worth sacrificing your hair style. And another perspective to take is just because girls love it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t make you look like a tool. Lots of girls love tools just usually not seriously. But how your hair looks shouldn’t really matter that much because if there into you at all there going to find out sooner or later your not a tool not saying that a fowhawk is in fact tool like ether, i mean If you dressed well I'd probably think it was sexy because of the boldness and attractive because it'd give you a sense of originality. but obviously everyone’s opinion is going to be a little different

If I were you and I liked it i wouldnt worry about pleasing other people. Enless you reallly want to make her happen I would role with the idea that Im sure you plenty of other attractive qualitys that she would be able to over look the hair if she was really into you.
Do what you want. that is more attractive than hair will ever be.
