Whether you call it a crush, love, or oneitis, I think that love is a big problem. I start getting closer to girls and sometimes nothing comes out of it, but there is always one girl that I find to be really cool and shit hits the fan. Last year a new girl came to my school, and I knew she was really different. I talked to her frequently, and the more I got to know her the more I liked her. Eventually, I started expecting things from our conversations and I just blew it. This year, I just started getting closer to this girl I thought was cool and the same thing is happening. I feel like I just reach a point where I care too much about what happens between me and a girl and it just hinders my progress. anyone else have similar problems? help me stop caring!  |

Love exists, but only in the right circumstances. Until about 100 years ago, longevity pretty much sucked there were no 70 yr old retirees in the 1800's. However the idea of love forever as been around since the beginning of Humanity. There is hormonal teen love, our bodies know without medical advance we would die at 30 or 40 so we needed to have babies. Then theres the deeper love, between two that lasts longer than lust. I have no idea how long term love will work, but your dating adulthood will be much larger then any other generation, believe me, there is always another girl. There is no the ONE. there are over 3 billion women on the planet, at least 150 million in the US, the chnces of finding a cool girl are pretty high.
remember, there are always others, and boy you have access to PUA, the system to find others.

thanks guys. Yeah tommy (+1 btw) I realize statistically the odds are for me. I guess its just hormones and i keep convincing myself that i'm misunderstood but who knows.
I just gotta keep working on my game and shit will come through. I mean i'm only getting stronger with every experience so whats the problem?

love exists, ive been in love. Theres no rhyme or reason to it, and the more you try to explain it away the less you'll understand when things dont make sense with the rules that youve set.

Love exists, and it's great. I don't know about that "forever" kinda love (though at moments it feels like that, my reasoning gets the best of me 99% of the time).
Keep that love shit for after you've gamed a girl. The first time you think you're in love you're probably not, or not very much. Love is months (some would say years) of being with that one girl, it builds, it doesn't just pop up (for me anyway, and I'd assume most guys are the same).
