There’s a hell of a lot of talk about fashion, almost to the point where I question the sexuality of some of us despite the fact that this is a forum where we learn how to pick up girls.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for looking good, but I believe good fashion sense is being able to exemplify features that are unique to you, your body type, skin color, etc. Which I believe helps you "stick out" more than some peacock material.
Black nails, fauxhawks, and gold grills don’t look good on everybody.
I’m also not saying you shouldn’t try new things, but you should learn how to own your clothes and understand why you look good and how you look good.
Slapping on a couple of rings, necklace, and some huge belt buckle doesn't make you some "fashion guru."
Looking good isn’t universal, your wardrobe must be tailored to you, not the other way around. Clothes don't make the man, the man does.
As always, it's my opinion, add to it, criticize it, but respect it.

Glad to hear it, you wouldn't be andrew's friend would you? Good post btw, but I think it exemplifies my first line on how much fashion is glorified here, when the focus should be on our identity and who we are, but I digress

Good post btw, but I think it exemplifies my first line on how much fashion is glorified here, when the focus should be on our identity and who we are, but I digress ya I'm andrews friend! and my post was more of a guidline for people who dont know where to start, like training wheels to know what could look apealing on them Ive dressed alot of my poorly dressed friends who are guys and usualy i start by opening them to places like holister where everything fits and looks presentable then i show them places like H&M and other more urbany stores and then they find there own style completely different then what I mgiht have picked. I feel like its one of those things were your constantly learning, and your own tastes and perseptions are evalving, so we can all learn tips and tricks form each other.

I'm trying to be more open to the v necks and flannel, but god.. it's hard, because SO many kids here wear them, and the worst part is, most of them look ugly as fuck in it. don't you hate when those people are trying to be "fashion savvy" but they have no idea what looks good on them?

no i know exacly what you mean, i know alot of people who do that and i wish i could just show them some things cause they have the potential too look sooo good.
but hey if everyone wears them and you dont want to be like everyone i totaly respect that. and there are so many other ways to look good, i have alot of friends who wear slight vneck cuts i think that looks really good too especialy on people that regualr vnecks look bad on
dress shirts sweaters blazers jackets hoodies there so much out there. BUT god i do love plaid, there will never be an equivalent substitute in my heart atleast lol.
so what is your basic style then? what DO you like to wear?

lol @ nuntruck. just call me nunchuks, it sounds a lot cooler. I like sunglasses, those pseudo aviator ones, fedora hats and berets, sometimes i wear rings and necklaces if i remember. I like blazers, I wear sorta tight jeans, but I lost them I like shirts that look nice.. usually a size small. I love my members only jackets. For shoes, I wear mostly running shoes cuz their comfortable, I have these orange ones that I always wear, regardless of the theme that I'm trying but I have adidas, chucks, and reebok classics. Oh and I like v neck sweaters, but I'm trying to get some solid color shirts like black white, baby blue, I dont know what you call those colors, but their like softened up bold colors (dark red, light brown, etc.) and I'll probably get some v-neck shirts. How about you gramgram? Buy me a new pair of kicks for christmas!
