Ok so when determaining colors and style that look good there are four things to keep in mind
Skincolor
Eye color
Haircolor
Bodytype
Ok when it come to skin color, people are usually categorized into a season, Im sure youv’e heard girls say things like Im a winter, or Im a summer- there not talking about there favorite time of year, there talking about what color clothes look best on them
Now for me to determaine what season some one is Its mostly instinctive, so I looked up an accurate description on ehow
“Winter" complexions have blue or pink undertones. Skin can be pale white, yellowish-olive, or dark. Winter people are generally brunettes, with deeply colored eyes. Many Asians and African Americans fall into this category.
"Summer" complexions, like winter complexions, have blue or pink undertones. Skin is pale and pink. Summers are often natural blondes or brunettes with pale eyes.
"Autumn": Autumn complexions have golden undertones. Many redheads and brunettes with golden brown eyes fall into this category.
"Spring": Spring complexions have golden undertones and are usually creamy white or peach. Spring people generally have straw-colored or strawberry red hair, freckles, rosy cheeks, and blue or green eyes
Ok so all of that perfectly worded gook was form ehow ^
Next thing to evaluate is eyes
Sometimes the colors that compliment eyes fall under your season and other time they don’t, but sometimes its just nice to exsentuate a specific feature
There are two ways to compliment eyes
-If you have blue/green eyes or even just blue gray, your eye color will probably change depending on the clothes your waring this is because your eyes are fair and they reflect the colors around them
So if you want your eyes too look more blue, where blue if you want them more green, ware green
Same thing goes with brown eyes if you ware darker shades such as black your eyes will appear darker
-Complimentary and contrasting colors are apart of color theory. complimentary colors, compliment each other and contrasting colors are opisate and will make for a dramatic pop especialy in eye color
So if you have blue eyes try colors like: browns, yellows, golds, and orange
If you have green eyes, reds and purples, and browns
If you have brown eyes try colors like navy blues greens, and purple
Body type:
Stripes, and horizontal lining such as plaid give you the allusion of looking bigger
Black makes you look smaller and white makes you look bigger
Things that are formfitting but rooshed (bunchy) or layered will make you look bigger
If your small and you where big clothing you end up drowning in it and looking even smaller
If you want to look slimmer
Ware black and vertical lines (often found on dress shirts)
And layers can also often allude to a flatter stomach

- Winter: Winters should wear colors that are sharp, stark and clear. White, black, navy blue, red and shocking pink all go well with winter complexions. For lighter colors, wear icy tones rather than pastels. Avoid subdued tones like beige, orange and gold
"Summer" complexions, like winter complexions, have blue or pink undertones. Skin is pale and pink. Summers are often natural blondes or brunettes with pale eyes.
- Summer: Summers should choose pastels and soft neutrals with rose and blue undertones. Lavender, plum, rose-brown and soft blue suit summers well while black and orange do not.
"Autumn": Autumn complexions have golden undertones. Many redheads and brunettes with golden brown eyes fall into this category.
- Autumn: Autumns should select colors with golden undertones, like camel, beige, orange, gold and dark brown. Avoid colors with blue tones, like navy.
"Spring": Spring complexions have golden undertones and are usually creamy white or peach. Spring people generally have straw-colored or strawberry red hair, freckles, rosy cheeks, and blue or green eyes
-
Spring: Springs can wear warm colors like camel, peach, golden yellow and golden brown. Avoid dark, dull colors.
