Attractive People have an Advantage in Life

So im writing a report in my honors pop culture class.

Im supposed to analyze a central message reflected in popular american culture. And the message i chose was " Attractive People have an advantage in life.

What do you guys think of that. Can you think of any songs, stuff on tv, movies, books, fads or trends that show that?

I don't know about any direct examples, but I know that taller men are as a rule more successful in life, and height is normally considered to be attractive, so those could be linked

Easy. Look at celebrities for one. Most of them are good looking. And people idolize them. They basically are almost above the law (but that is because they are celebs) But point being, if they were ugly, more then likely they wouldnt get to be a celeb. And trends are whats in, and what looks good. And by following a trend, you are trying to look good.

Also, it doesnt necessarily have to be attractive, but atleast very well put together (and that in its own I suppose is attractive). Because look, if someone has great ideas, but they dont present themselves properly, then more then likely their idea wont be heard. Remember, perception is reality. If you come across attractive, and have a celebrity vibe resonating off of you, people will treat you that way.

But as far as pop culture goes, its a peice of cake. Look at all the magazines, everything depcting women, tv commercials ect. They are all good looking people. But also attractiveness isn't just psychical, its personality. If you have an attractive personality, then you DEFINTLY will get farther in life, then if you dont. But I think looks can only go so far, but if you can present yourself very well, I think itll just amplify that

like one of i have is lady gaga. they put a shit ton of make up and everything on her to make her more attractive, because it will make more money

ohh true. Idk man, you have a ton of resources just look lol. They take out peach fuzz and hairs and stuff off of models and alter their bodys and stuff to make em look better

Most products put out today are used to enhance physical beauty or attractiveness. Attractive people dont even have to bother with those products.

Say how attractive people are used to sell products and we are more inclined to buy something that has an attractive person on the cover rather than a less attractive person.
