I was reading through my psychology book and I came across an
interesting quote.
"The mind is slow in unlearning what it has been long in learning."
-Roman Philosopher SENECA
I can't speak for everyone, but as I went through the stages of
change to shift my outlooks and beliefs, I felt discouraged
frequently.
It took me a long time to improve my social skills, and I think this
quote gets the point across that being the man that you want to
be WILL NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT. It is not a test you can cram for.
It requires consistent study and implementation. Dedication.
I hope this serves as a reality check for anyone who is discouraged from PUA by the lack of improvement observed.
