It's winter. Let's refresh our minds as to the rules of winter driving!!
My tips:
- never break and steer and the same time.
- went going uphill, keep a constant speed, while putting your gear into around 2.
- always turn the heat on to defrost.
- lights should always be on in snowy conditions.

I'm a little suprised to see safe driving tips here of all places, but if it prevents crashes its worth it. I don't know about second gear for hills, my car is pretty gutless but I hardly ever need to go into second. I guess it depends on your car.
