Pick Up as a Career?

Alek, I dont know why if you pickup was your dream job and you were going to college anyway you wouldnt take classes to help you with that. Maybe i misunderstand your point, but if pickup is what I wanted to do with my life i would DEFINITELY go to college and learn all i can. Plus the college environment is IDEAL for pickup.


And stevenadrien, for me at least, coaching isn't about distinguishing myself from everyone else out there. As long as I'm able to interact with a bunch of guys on a fairly consistent level and HELP them then I'll be happy. Truth is that I have a different outlook on this stuff than most of the guys here, and truth is that I take it extremely personally and there are people on the forum that can attest to that.
I don't need to be the most famous out there, but if I'm damn good itll happen. This is what I want to do and as long as I'm helping guys out there then I consider myself a success.

i agree with alek physcology and all tht stuff is only good if u wanna teach the course or someshit
physcologist arent nessecairly great pick up artists ...... they study attractive behavior they dont neccasrily have it.... a great PUA is one who actually has tons and tons of field experience.. u need a bit of both i guess some physcology and great PUA skills... but going to college for PUA er i dont think it would help ....u rather hit the clubs then the books..... lol

it doesnt matter how much you know about something if you cant teach it well.

He went on a pua bootcamp after going to a seminar and applying to go on the bootcamp

and while on the bootcamp he showed that he was a good pua and then he said to Gambler that he wanted a job, he was confident, and he got the chance. Now he's working in PUA. He is the most successful man i know.

I still dont really understand why you guys are hating on a college degree so much.

I mean, given the choice between an amazing pickup artist and teacher, and an amazing pickup artist and teacher with a degree in social psychology which one would you choose?

Well I dont have anything against a college degree, its just that people need to realize a few things first before they get that degree, and if its worth the years of debt to pay it off, that bother me. And the pick up artist thing doesn't matter, im paying someone to teach me. Who ever can teach me better, and has better stuff, ill pay for.
