Hey guys, I just want to say that its hibernating period. That's what winter is, the time when we all hibernate and eat crap and don't feel like working out as often as we should and I want to know what you guys have been doing or plan to be doing to stay or get into shape this winter.
I'm doing this thing called Insanity, it is freaking insane as the name states, its like the most epic cardio you will ever get, ever. Now it isn't only for losing weight its for gaining muscle, I'd say you won't lose too much on the scale doing this but you'd bulk up slightly. Not "ZOMG ITS ARNIE" buff but you'd be lean (think Brad Pitt in say Troy or that girl's brother from that crappy show True Blood), which is always good if you want to look amazing with or without clothes on.
(An irrelevant post-script): On some other thread I saw somebody say that you'd only do a routine like P90X if you are fat...whoever said that is an idiot because P90X is pure resistance its for building strong muscles not slimming down, if you're fat that will be inevitable but if you're skinny you'd bulk up.

i play basketball for my team and lift occasionally, mostly cardio, and agility tho

I'm doing a workout that consists of this 13 exercises 1set, 10 reps Weight must be what you can lift for 10 reps and no more 3 times a week rest in between no rests, should be no longer than 47 minutes
I have yet to start it yet xP

Its summer for me, but for some reason I am actually less motivated to workout in the summer, maybe because of the heat.
My workout is just a straight 3 day spit, 3 sets each of 8 reps for each exercise.

This is a reason I love Texas. It still warm weather down here. I don't have access to weights so I've been hitting up thar futbol quite alot, along with ab ripper X.
