Pierced Ears

So this is a few questions being thrown at ya.

One, what do you guys think about pierced ears? Im thinking of
doing mine in a couple of weeks, and it would fit my identity
(drummer). suggestions?

two, im eighteen now so i can do what i want, but my parents
dont want me to pierce em. And theyre telling me you cant get
some jobs with pierced ears... is this true lol or are they totally
bull shitting me.

three... what's the difference between getting them done cheap
at the mall, as opposed to going to a piercing shop?

I'd get them done at a piercing shop. The tools they use are most likely identical, but the skill cleanliness isn't. neither is the level of skill.

It's true that you won't be able to get a job at some places, but it's very rare, and usually only at places where they have a special policy against piercings at all, or if you work at a place you have to look really decent (depending heavily on the earrings. bad ass rings will get you put down, bling probably won't).

Both of my ears are pierced, and I used to have some zirc sticks. I lost em though, damn parties. I'm getting a new pair soon.
Remember, if you're getting zirc stones and you're white, get a tan. It looks odd with white stones against an almost whiter face.
Besides, getting a tan is just so much sexier!



I'm kinda surprised you didn't ask if it hurts? It doesn't. It hurts just as much as pinching your ear really hard, really fast. Nothing at all. Not even enough for me to say "...just grab yo' balls an'...".

i actually have been gettin a tan lately so im good right there ha.
I think im gonna get em done in a couple weeks. I'm not sure
what kinda earrings i want, altho generally, i want them smaller,
ie-not rings but studs of some sort.

There was a black onyx thing at silverloft i was checking out.
What do u think of what i should get?

Well, it depends on your style, but either way I'd have a few pairs to choose from. Maybe have a pair of black, 'diamond' white, and ice blue maybe.

Either way I'd go for the rather typical 'diamond' white pair, since they just fit just about anything, and I think it looks hot if you're tanned. On the other hand, if you're pale (like, WHITE) and you wear a black pair, you'll get to look like an emo. That's fine if that's what you're aiming for, though. lol.


as for the type of earring, I'd get the typical stick. not a ring, and not a stud. just a stick with a stone in some sort of socket. Also, be sure not to get some cheap copper stuff. You'd want titanium, silver, platinum or gold - they don't give you allergies.
