im pretty sure its about your total body fat, if you want cut abs, you have to work on decreasing your body fat.

Your abs arent gonna show if you have some fat over them. Best way to burn fat is doing some cardio and burn the calories off. If you start running a good way to burn some without going out for a marathon would be to push the pace. Running is also awesome for hockey made me hella faster and i was ahead of my teammates in conditioning too.

I don't know what your diet is like, but if you are eating junk food, cutting it out will make a big difference.

the way i keep my 6 pack in shape is by doing work.
Shoveling snow and raking leaves keeps you in shape
And you can make hella $$$ doing it for other people

I've got great abs but I haven't done ab specific excersizes in like a year man, it's not about building up the muscle, it's about scraping that fat off the top of it. You HAVE to be less than around 10% bodyfat to see your abs, that means eating less. That's all there is to it man

Lots of cardio, healty food, eat more frequently, but smaller meals, don't stop eating altogether, get your vitamins/minerals, drink lots of water, always eat to the point of (almost) puking in the morning - it really is the most important meal of the day, and it barely matters what you get, just get something. Oatmeal is awesome!
