I want to finally stop. I did every possible thing and am against it. But as soon as I see one of my friends with cigarette, I get that urge, find some excuse (or simply think to myself "whatever the fuck, I'm smoking tonight") and get a cigarette and smoke.
Has anyone been in the same situation? I know it comes from the "I want to be like them" frame and I hate it, but I can't help it.
Help me, please. Any comment, reply, anything appreciated.

This is just a QUICK tip but get smoking out of your mind completely. Maybe avoid your smoking friends (for now)and never be thinking "i am gonna quit smoking" cuz that gets you thinking about it. Your goal should be "i am gonna stay clean."

Set boundaries for something you like. Say to yourself, "If I smoke this cigarette I can't talk to a girl for the rest of tonight/today."

Ask a true friend to help you. When they see you smoking, they take it from you.
Other than that, I don't know, google it, their are alot of helplines.

Uhmm, I don't know. What else do you like? Do you love to play an instrument or something? Or if all else fails you could just force yourself to be celibate if you pick up a cigarette.

My friends dad used hypnosis and apparently it worked. I think you should just start seeing yourself as a non-smoker. Seriously though man, that stuffs really bad. I think hypnosis is a good way to go with it.

I was addicted to World of Warcraft (stop laughing plox). I know it sounds totally lame, but I might be able to somewhat relate to what you're going through. A lot of the dudes at my school play WoW, so everywhere I go someone's talking about it and it makes me want to alienate all my friends and my family, spend all my time playing, and just let my grades and social life die. What I did was I took up guitar. It's totally thereuputic and so much better than wasting my life on that game. I keep remembering all the emotional pain I felt when I saw how much time I wasted on it. Also, stories from other people about why they quit and reasons why they're still clean work. Something which works for me when im quitting something is doing something else. i was trying to quit masturbation (lmao) so i decided whenever i wana beat ill do some exercise. Id just hit the floor and do push ups till i got tired and didn't want to any more. so just try it. when you want a cig just drop and do push ups or something.

Like Nine says, masturbation is actually very healthy. Not only does it reduce the chance of cancer, it also reduces stress and releases sexual tension. Having a crappy day? Beat it off bro, beat it off.
